About the role:
As the Recovery Program Manager, you will manage the planning and coordinate the delivery of on-ground works to;
- Restore and open visitor facilities and assets
- Coordinate works to conserve environments
- Protect cultural heritage in partnership with three Traditional Owner groups
Following significant fires in Gariwerd (Grampians), many visitor facilities were damaged or destroyed. This role will be pivotal in planning and delivery within two years to successfully reopen all closed assets. The natural and cultural environments were also significantly impacted by the fires and you will play an important role in the coordination of subject matter experts to work with Traditional Owners and key stakeholders to protect and conserve our biocultural sensitive landscapes.
We're looking for someone with:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in construction project management, environmental science, conservation or natural land management or similar is required.
- Demonstrated experience in the management of recovery programs is desirable.
- Extensive experience within a Public Sector or Service environment is desirable.
- Experience working with fast-paced delivery environments.
