About the role:

As the Regional Recovery Coordinator, you will lead and coordinate recovery efforts across the region following natural events or emergencies. In this critical role, you will manage and support a range of recovery activities, from initial impact assessments to the delivery of priority projects, ensuring the safe and efficient restoration of public lands and community infrastructure.

The role is highly responsive and time-sensitive, requiring a strong focus on delivery, agility to adapt to evolving circumstances, and a collaborative approach to meet the needs of Parks Victoria and the communities we serve.

We're looking for someone with:

  • A tertiary qualification in natural resource management, Asset Management, Civil Engineering, project management or other discipline relevant to parks and public land management
  • Demonstrated record of customer service in a service delivery environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to develop and implement policies, plans, prescriptions and programs in a land management field, preferably across each of the disciplines of natural, cultural and built asset management, and with a focus on emergency recovery is desirable
