About the role:
This role plays a key part in planning, coordinating, and delivering targeted recovery projects, such as hazardous tree management, roading works, and infrastructure repair, in collaboration with project teams and regional operations. The position requires strong project coordination skills, a hands-on approach to delivery, and the ability to prioritise tasks in a time-sensitive environment.
Working under the guidance of the Regional Recovery Coordinator, the Recovery Project Officer will operate across all phases of defined recovery projects, ensuring effective planning, procurement, implementation, and quality assurance.
We're looking for someone with:
- Demonstrated experience in project management, including planning and delivery
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to provide expert and technical advice in field-based operations
- Experience working in fire or emergency recovery environments (desirable)
