About the role:

Parks Victoria is seeking an organised and proactive Project Support Officer to join our Recovery Delivery Team. This position plays an essential role in supporting the administration, coordination, and financial management of infrastructure recovery projects across Victoria's public land.

Under the guidance of the Regional Recovery Coordinator, the Project Support Officer will work closely with project teams, procurement and finance teams, and external contractors to support the planning and delivery of critical recovery works. You'll help ensure smooth project operations through effective administrative support, coordination of meetings and documentation, financial tracking, and adherence to delivery frameworks such as Parks Victoria's P3M.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in project management, natural resource management, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in project or construction administration, including procurement and finance tasks
  • Experience developing agendas, taking minutes, and preparing reports
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Proven ability to work within a high-performing team on time-bound funded programs
