About the role:
Parks Victoria is seeking a dedicated and skilled Biodiversity and Environment Officer to help coordinate and deliver a major biodiversity and environmental recovery program in the Grampians (Gariwerd) National Park.
This role supports the implementation of externally funded nature conservation projects following the 2024–25 summer fires, contributing directly to habitat restoration, pest plant and animal control, and ecological resilience across the Gariwerd landscape. You'll play a key role in planning, coordinating, and delivering priority environmental works in a dynamic and collaborative team.
We're looking for someone with:
- Tertiary qualifications in science, natural resource management or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Demonstrated experience in pest plant and/or animal control projects in a park or public land setting
- Strong project management skills, with experience across multiple portfolios
- Proven stakeholder engagement and operational coordination experience
