Senior Project Manager, Signalling

Rail Projects Victoria (RPV), formerly known as Melbourne Metro Rail Authority, is the Victorian Government body responsible for the delivery of the Metro Tunnel Project, Regional Rail Revival, the high speed rail link between Geelong and Melbourne and the future Melbourne Airport Link. RPV is responsible for all aspects of the projects including planning and development of a project reference design, site investigations, stakeholder engagement, planning approvals and procurement, through to construction delivery and project commissioning.

Position Details

The Senior Project Manager, Signalling will lead and provide input to the design and scope development of the signalling and train control components of the Regional Rail Revival Program. The role will call on both project development and delivery management experience relating to signalling and related rail systems in major brownfield rail projects. This will include integration across multiple disciplines and stakeholder organisations including Public Transport Victoria (PTV), VicTrack, Rail Operators, LXRA and interface projects. The ability to build and maintain strong relationships across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders and manage and communicate project implications of complex technical issues is fundamental for success in this role.
