Position Details

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the position of Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies – Outreach Worker. This fixed term role is a temporary appointment of 18 months with full-time and part-time applicants encouraged to apply. 

This newly funded position is currently available within our Primary and Community Services division. We are looking for a dedicated allied health professional or nurse that is looking to make a difference in the outcomes for women and their children. 

The Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies outreach worker will provide support to pregnant women with complex health, welfare and social needs. The program targets pregnant women who have difficulty accessing antenatal services or are in need of additional supports. 

Applicants with qualifications in social work, nursing, allied health, family support and maternal & child health nursing are encouraged to apply. Previous experience working with women and children is required.

Applicants should hold a current motor vehicle licence and will be required to consent to and undergo a police record check.
