An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivatedand dynamic professional to lead our General Practice clinic; ensuring the continued development of an innovative and progressive teaching, learning and clinical environment. Both full or part time applicants are encouraged to apply.
The Practice Manager will provide accountability, leadership and guidance for all staff; managing the practice as a clinical business unit that continues to innovate and further develop its capability. A key relationship with the GP Clinical Lead and our training partners exists.
The South West General Practice clinic is a group practice; comprising six medical consulting rooms, a practice nurse room, and two procedure rooms. In conjunction with the staff of the adjacent Warrnambool Community Health, there is a focus on chronic disease management, family and multi-disciplinary care. Strong links with both Deakin University and GP Training organisations will provide the clinic with both teaching and research opportunities..
The Practice Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running, management, finances, staffing, coordination and long term planning; including identifying and implementing other potential opportunities.
