Community and Outpatient Position
An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Physiotherapist to join the Physiotherapy and Allied Health Team on a part time permanent basis at Central Gippsland Health Service. This position offers the opportunity to work within the outpatient and community setting with a broad adult caseload from general musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiopulmonary-metabolic outpatients. Wage, classification and days of work will be based on the level of experience of the successful applicant.
The successful applicant will work with a multi-disciplinary health and community services team who see the client at the centre of their care. Experience in both individual and group, and an outpatient caseload will be highly regarded.
CGHS is the major provider of health and residential aged care services in the Wellington Shire and is an integrated health service providing a wide range of primary health and community support services. CGHS Allied Health Department has a staff establishment of more than 35 effective full time positions with over 50 staff based in a purpose built Rehabilitation facility. The Physiotherapy Department has 7 Physiotherapists, an Exercise Physiologist, as well as qualified and experienced Allied Health Assistants, and offers a varied and interesting service across the acute, community and aged care sectors, including an expanding community and inpatient rehabilitation service.
