Almost every year between June and September the Southern Right Whales return to the waters off Warrnambool and often swim within a hundred meters of the shore.

Position Details

An opportunity exists for a highly enthusiastic, motivated person for the position of Adult Day Centre Coordinator at the David Newman Centre. This is a permanent part time position of 34 hours per week. 

The David Newman Centre is an adult day care facility located in Camperdown. The centre is an integrated part of South West Healthcare’s Community Health Services; and it delivers centre based services to socially isolated older people and/or persons with disabilities.

The successful applicant will have strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of staff, clients, carers and fellow professionals. This position involves managing all daily operations and running of the centre. 

A current drivers licence is required and the successful applicant will be required to consent to and undergo a Police Record Check.
