About the role

As the Ranger (Field Services), you will deliver in park services as directed by the Ranger Team Leader to enable efficient and effective delivery at a district level in accordance with the Regional Action Plan. You will be accountable for the delivery of on ground works including, but not limited to, maintenance of assets, infrastructure, and facilities; and the field delivery of environmental projects. You will undertake Fire and Emergency response activities in accordance with requirements and level of training.

We're looking for someone with:

  • A qualification in a relevant building trade (building, carpentry, plumbing, electrical) desirable.
  • Practical skills in the maintenance and operation of machinery, small equipment and tools.
  • Demonstrated skills in the maintenance and construction of a range of park facilities, including, signs, campgrounds, fences and walking tracks.
