About the role:
You will provide comprehensive professional support to the Executive Director, Corporate Affairs and a wide range of administrative support to projects across the corporate affairs functions. You will enjoy working as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the effective functioning of the wider corporate services directorate and the organisation. This role will suit candidates who have an interest in working with stakeholders at executive levels.

You will be responsible for providing exceptional executive assistance including diary management, taking minutes, scheduling of meetings, preparation of written correspondence, maintaining accounts and budgets, approving payments and assisting with recruitment and training matters. This role also offers variety by providing administrative support and coordination for a number of corporate projects, initiatives and reporting.

About you:
You will have experience providing executive level support and liaising with senior stakeholders both internally and externally. You will have strong organisational and prioritisation skills as well as tact, diplomacy, discretion, the ability to maintain confidentiality and sound judgement. Your excellent attention to detail, understanding of what makes a good organisational culture, sound time management skills, and high level written and verbal communication skills will be highly regarded.

You will also demonstrate a strong commitment to the vision and values of VLA and have the drive and initiative to achieve key objectives and priorities within the directorate you support.
