Position Details

South West Healthcare is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Allied Health Assistant (AHA) Grade 3 for a full time position supporting the delivery of a multidisciplinary program to people undertaking intensive home based rehabilitation.  Experience working as an AHA supporting Allied Health Professionals in a rehabilitation setting or similar would be highly regarded.

The selection criteria includes but is not limited to:

  • Certificate IV Allied Health Assistance or equivalent
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision to implement therapeutic and related activities, including maintenance of appropriate documentation
  • Ability to relate to a wide range of people and professionals, demonstrate very good interpersonal and communication skills
  • An understanding of the social, emotional, physical and psychological aspects of rehabilitation and complex health needs
