Position Details

An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and experienced person to join South West Healthcare in the temporary (24 months) full time position of Strengthening Hospital Responses to Family Violence (SHRFV) Project Manager.

As part of the Government's recognition of Family Violence as a significant social and health issue for many Victorians, a Statewide, whole-of-hospital approach to assist in the identification and response to people experiencing family violence is being implemented. This role will have responsibility for implementing the SHRFV model within South West Healthcare and supporting implementation at other healthcare services within the region.

Ideally the successful applicant will hold a tertiary qualification in Social Science, a health related discipline or other related field, and have experience in a clinical setting in hospitals.  , They will also have experience in delivering training, together with the ability to work independently or within a team and display the capacity to communicate in both a written and verbal context to a range of stakeholders.

Experience in the area of family violence or prevention of violence against women, leading and managing complex projects, and driving cultural change is desirable.
