Almost every year between June and September the Southern Right Whales return to the waters off Warrnambool and often swim within a hundred meters of the shore.

Position Details

An opportunity exists for innovative, highly motivated Registered Nurses to further develop their surgical / perioperative clinical nursing skills through our 2018 Transition Year positions.

The positions would suit Registered Nurses interested in the Operating Suite and Acute Surgical Nursing care and present an ideal opportunity for those contemplating future studies in Perioperative or Surgical Nursing.

The positions are available from January 2018 – January 2019 and allow the successful applicants two six monthly rotations through the Operating Suite and Short Stay Unit.

Applicants need to have demonstrated a commitment to professional development and be willing to undertake further education during the year.
