Associate Nurse Unit Manager
Cooinda Lodge

An opportunity currently exist for enthusiastic and suitably qualified nurse/s with a passion for Aged Care to join our innovative and committed team in a leadership role. The ideal applicant will be a person who:

  • Has a genuine empathy and respect for older people.
  • Has a sound knowledge and understanding of aged and dementia care, and associated standards.
  • Has an ability to work alongside all levels of staff.
  • Can demonstrate effective leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.


Essential Requirements:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership role.
  • Sound knowledge and experience of contemporary and holistic      practices in gerontic nursing.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing administrative support,      including sound computer skills.
  • Ability to work all shifts.
  • Demonstrated Clinical assessment skills.
  • Commitment to provide best practice in a residential Aged Care Setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment.
