Position Details

An exciting opportunity exists for a talented and highly motivated Project Coordinator to join the Office of the Victorian Multicultural Commission (OVMC). 

The OVMC sits within the Multicultural Affairs and Social Cohesion Division of the Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC) providing secretariat services and working collaboratively within the Division to deliver events, speeches, festivals, submissions, research and community consultations amongst other things. The OVMC also supports the Victorian Multicultural Commission (VMC) to meet its statutory obligations and program of work. 

This position will be a key resource in the delivery of the VMC's work, providing oversight of major projects to ensure high quality programs are delivered on time and meet the expectations of Victoria's diverse community and the VMC's stakeholders including the Minister for Multicultural Affairs. The position will also take carriage of major procurements.

To be successful in this role you will have proven project management and written communication skills, stakeholder management experience and be a proactive self-starter with an ability to work in a fast paced environment along with working effectively in a team. 

The closing date for this position is midnight 22 October 2017.
