Position Details

As Mental Health Clinician you will be a registered Psychologist with either General or Clinical registration, a Social Worker, an Occupational Therapist or Registered Nurse, with a sound appreciation of evidence-based contemporary mental health practices and seeking a highly rewarding role in a full time ongoing capacity. 

This is an opportunity for an experienced Mental Health Clinician to expand their knowledge and skills in the crisis focused role of triage and intake.  

You will work as part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team providing triage and crisis response, as well as intake and assessment either via phone or face to face, for consumers presenting with acute and/or ongoing mental health difficulties.  You will then provide short term treatments and/or referrals appropriate to the needs of the individual, their carers and family.

 You will be part of a large team, including Mental Health Clinicians, Peers Support Workers, Psychiatrists and an Acute Inpatient Unit.  You will work closely with other regional teams and residential services, and will by supported with regular supervision and training.
