Position Details

An exciting opportunity is available for an outstanding, talented and passionate individual to join the Education Branch within the Department of Premier and Cabinet as an Executive Assistant. This role may also provide support to other executives and areas in the Social Policy and Service Delivery Reform Group.

The core duties of the role include providing high quality secretarial and administrative support to Education Branch, including diary and meeting management for the Director, stakeholder liaison, management of correspondence and briefing processes, and other office support.

The role requires a proactive self-starter with an ability to work with limited supervision in a complex, sensitive and fast paced environment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong skills in communication, organisation and planning, team work, and stakeholder relations. Experience in an Executive Assistant or Business Support role, particularly within Government, would be an advantage.
