Position Details

An exciting opportunity exists for talented and passionate Policy Officers (1 x Ongoing and 1 x Fixed Term - 18 months) to join the Social Inclusion Policy Unit, which sits in the Community Resilience and Social Inclusion Branch.

The role requires a proactive self-starter with good understanding of government processes and an ability to work in a complex and fast paced environment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong policy, analytical and communication skills coupled with an ability to influence stakeholders and work effectively in a team environment. The effective delivery of programs under the Multicultural Policy Statement (MPS) from their inception through to evaluation is a key aspect of this role. 

Experience in multicultural affairs and social policy is an advantage, but not essential.

The closing date for this position is midnight 3 December 2017.
