Position Details

Southwest Heath Emergency Department at Warrnambool Base Hospital see approx. 25,000 patients per annum, including trauma, paediatrics, obstetrics and most medical emergencies.  We are the referral centre for the region and supported by a growing number of inpatient specialty units.

We have a junior medical workforce and involvement in ACEM registrar training, ACEM certificate and diploma course participants and RACGP and ACCRM registrar as well as Nurse Practitioners and full complement of trained ED nursing staff

A department and executive that support education, research and involvement in worldwide projects.

Applications are invited for this full time specialist position (part time applications will be considered).  A primary medical degree fully registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA), the qualification of FACEM or equivalent and appropriate experience are essential.
