Operations Manager – Surgical & Maternity

Registered Nurse Grade 6

Ongoing Full time position

We have an exciting new position available for a suitably qualified senior nurse to join our team in the delivery of safe, high quality person centred care within the West Gippsland Healthcare Group. This new role will work closely with the Director of Clinical Services to provide both strategic and operational leadership, and managerial support to a selection of our clinical service departments. To function effectively in this role, applicants should hold or be working towards achieving tertiary qualifications in nursing and/or management with significant experience at a senior level. Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to foster collaborative working relationships with all disciplines are essential. Resource management experience with proven leadership, sound knowledge of public health, experience in quality processes and evaluating patient care are integral to this challenging and rewarding role.
