Position Details

Are you a Mental Health Clinician (registered Psychologist with either General or Clinical registration / Social Worker / Occupational Therapist or Registered Nurse), with a sound appreciation of evidence-based contemporary mental health practices seeking a rewarding role? 

South West Healthcare currently has two opportunities to join the Access Team servicing Warrnambool and surrounding districts:

  • 80 hours per fortnight - temporary until January 2019
  • 64 hours per fortnight - permanent

This is an opportunity for experienced Mental Health Clinicians or experienced Mental Health Nurses to expand their knowledge and skills in the crisis focused role of triage and intake.

The South Western Region of Victoria is serviced by our Mental Health Service Division, covering approximately 26,000 square kilometres, with a population exceeding 110,000. The region is characterised by a major population centre in the City of Warrnambool, larger provincial centres, and numerous smaller townships. Warrnambool is a vibrant, growing coastal regional centre, located 262 kilometres from Melbourne, a popular choice for those opting for a ‘seachange' in life.

Remuneration, benefits/salary packaging and conditions of employment will be negotiated with the successful applicant commensurate with qualifications, skills and experience. Relocation assistance will also be considered.
