Position Details

South West Healthcare's Mental Health Services is in the final preparation stages for the opening of the new PARC facility and are keen to secure an experienced Occupational Therapist in a full or part time ongoing capacity.  You will work as part of the multidisciplinary team responsible for the assessment and treatment of consumers and their families, in order to help them achieve their personal recovery goals.

 The PARC is a supported recovery orientated mental health residential facility which provides an option for people who are becoming unwell or who are in the early stages of their recovery and would benefit from a short period of additional support (up to 28 days), to strengthen their biological, psychological and social well-being. 

You are an Occupational Therapist with experience providing occupational therapy services in a mental health or similar setting, who has a desire to assist in recovery goals in relation to clients' mental health, personal, domestic and community daily living skills. 

You will be supported by our team of experienced mental health professionals, receive regular clinical supervision.  With a collaborative approach with Mind Australia, you will lead a team of like minded individuals providing client centred care to consumers and their families.
