Position Details

SOCIAL WORKER GRADE 2 (or other suitable experienced applicants)

Full Time position

Available until June 2019 with a likelihood of extension

 

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly self-motivated team player with a passion for working with vulnerable families in a fast paced diverse role. We are seeking a suitably experienced colleague to join us in delivering person-centred, coordinated care, with a focus on vulnerable families, pregnancy and post-natal care needs. The successful applicant will work in a team environment to help coordinate care to achieve positive outcomes for families and children. In this position you will work in a range of settings, including community clients and supporting social work staff in other areas, with the main focus being on the acute setting.

There is some flexibility with working hours, if required. Job share positions will also be considered.

Qualifications/Required Experience/Other

  • Bachelor Degree in Social Work or other relevant qualification
  • Experience in working with vulnerable families and children
  • Proven and significant clinical experience
  • Experience in a hospital setting (desired)
  • Clear Police Check/ Working with children's Check
  • Current Driver's licence
