Position Details

 Speech Pathologist

Fixed Term Part-time position - 16 hours per week

(12 month period with possible extension)

Grade 1 or Grade 2

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Speech Pathologist to join our team at the West Gippsland Healthcare Group. The West Gippsland Healthcare Group's main campus is situated at Warragul which is approximately 100 kilometres east of Melbourne or about 1 hour's drive.  The Healthcare Group provides acute care, community health and aged care services to the Shire of Baw Baw.

This position offers the chance to work in an interdisciplinary team with a variety of client groups, including paediatric, adult and aged care.  There is a focus on early intervention (0-6) services for the paediatric caseload and the opportunity to develop a variety of service delivery options.

This is an excellent opportunity to consolidate, develop and/or expand existing knowledge and skills in a supportive environment.

The position is fixed term, part-time with the possibility of an extension, the days can be negotiated. Supervision and support will be provided.

The successful applicant will hold a current Working with Children's Check (WWCC) and be eligible for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
