Position Details

Sustainability Victoria currently has an exciting opportunity for a Policy Lead to join our Climate Change Coordination team. The Policy Lead – Climate Change sits within the Climate Change Coordination team and plays a critical role influencing the thinking of the team, the organisation and broader government on climate change policy issues and program opportunities.  

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring trends in climate change policy and action to inform SV's position on Victorian policy and guide SV's approach to helping the Victorian community act on climate change. This position plays a critical role in influencing the thinking of the team, the organisation and broader government on climate change policy issues and program opportunities.

As a strategic and analytical thinker you will be capable of managing a complex project within a dynamic context and be able to quickly scan policy and formulate positions and can identify strategic opportunities and issues for SV. With your knowledge of Victoria's climate change and energy policy, you will have strong influencing skills and a track record of distilling and communicating complex ideas to a range of audiences.
