About the role
As a Ranger Team Leader, you will lead a team of rangers to deliver high-quality, on-ground services aligned with Parks Victoria's Regional Operations Plan. Reporting to the Area Chief Ranger, you'll play a key leadership role within your area or functional team — guiding daily operations, planning works, and fostering strong relationships with community stakeholders.
You'll champion a culture of safety, inclusion and accountability, while also coordinating activities like asset maintenance, visitor services, ecological programs and emergency response. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone passionate about people, place, and public service.
We're looking for someone with:
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams, including performance development
- Strong internal and external customer service focus
- A proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders on land management issues
- Flexibility in managing workloads and a solution-focused mindset
