Position Details

As a member of the ICT Procurement team, you will be challenged with whole of Victorian Government (WoVG) projects to achieve the best value for the Victorian Government. These projects will see you working with a diverse range of senior stakeholders and suppliers to assist with set up and management of ICT contracts and registers across Telecommunications, Hardware, Software and eServices areas.

Reporting to the Category Manager, this is a full time, ongoing position based in the Melbourne CBD.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Provide assistance with development and implementation of WoVG procurement solutions
  • Provide tactical and governance support to your immediate team
  • Build relationships and consult with stakeholders
  • Promote culture which supports learning and development

The Contract Officer will exhibit experience in the procurement profession including ICT strategic procurement management and supplier relationship management is required.

Qualifications of direct relevance to the work of the Group and/or the Department are highly desirable.
