Position Details

This is an exciting opportunity to join the leadership team of the Infrastructure, Planning and Major Projects branch in the Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet, providing influential advice on policy and project issues. This role offers the chance to lead provision of advice to the Premier, Special Minister of State and senior DPC executives on portfolio matters including Cabinet. The branch undertakes important strategic work that supports the Victorian Government in delivering its pipeline of major projects, as well as contributing to the development of policy and legislative reforms in the portfolios of transport, planning including building and heritage, sport and recreation, and suburban development.

The successful applicant will ideally be an authentic leader, experienced in providing strategic advice to key decision-makers and be able to demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders across government to achieve whole-of-government outcomes.

The role requires strong conceptual and analysis skills as well as an ability to influence through timely and professional advice in a time-pressured environment.
