Physiotherapist Grade 1

Fixed Term Full Time - 80 hours per fortnight with an ADO.

We are currently seeking applications from an enthusiastic Grade 1 Physiotherapist to work within our multidisciplinary team on a full time 12 month contract, with an option to extend. Newly graduated therapists are encouraged to apply, with the position starting January 2019.

This position will involve working as part of the supportive physiotherapy team. The role rotates between inpatient wards (subacute rehabilitation/GEM/TCP and acute) and outpatient services.  The successful applicant will work closely with other physiotherapists and regular supervision and support will be provided.  The caseload is varied and includes musculoskeletal, hand therapy, community based services, neurological conditions, group programs, falls and balance and post-operative rehabilitation. The rehabilitation position includes physiotherapy assessment and case management, with complex patients, as part of the physiotherapy team on subacute and acute.

This position requires a degree in Physiotherapy, current registration with AHPRA, and a current driver's license. If a newly graduating student, an AHPRA application is in process.

Further information is available from Lee Mason, Allied Health Team Leader Inpatient Rehabilitation and TCP on 5471 1516, or Anthony Montinaro, Senior Physiotherapist Acute/Subacute on 5471 1567.
