Position Details

The Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC) is transforming its digital communication and service delivery through the Single Digital Presence (SDP) project. DPC is looking for a Technical Lead to further develop SDP, beyond the existing Minimum Viable Product to:

  • Continuously improve the SDP products offering through feature delivery.
  • Build out the solution for content syndication via an API and using the existing headless architecture.
  • Ensure the output of high quality Open Source code from internal and external contributors.
  • Shape the delivery of technical products that support Open Government and collaboration.
  • Mentor other developers and maintain best practise development standards.
  • Develop and strengthen mutually beneficial working relationships/partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders and suppliers to ensure best practice approach to areas of expertise.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the Projects and Development team through modelling the culture and behaviour of Digital, Design and Innovation.

Further project details can be found at The Technical Lead will help design and develop the products to match the way citizens and department users want to consume them and with an understanding of the evolving commercial market we compete in. You will ignite people's passion around the SDP products - both within DPC and across WoVG, and play an important strategic, decision-making role in driving, communicating, and executing the product roadmap.

This role would suit an ambitious, experienced Technical Lead who is committed to delivering positive changes for Victorian citizens and government.
