Position Details

Administration Assistant – Ward Clerk

Permanent Part Time – 40 hours per fortnight

Castlemaine Health welcomes applications from experienced administrators to join the team in a permanent part time position. This position will be 4 hours per day, 5 days per week. The Ward Clerk provides professional support to patients/customers/clients and staff of Castlemaine Health's Acute and Sub-Acute Departments, as dictated by demand.  The position is responsible for performing a range of customer service, administrative and admission tasks with efficiency, thereby contributing to the smooth operations of the Departments.

To be successful you will require exceptional customer service skills with flexibility and adaptability to changes in work practices and to roster requirements. Your strong computer skills, including Microsoft office suite and aptitude for learning new software, will equip you for this diverse role as will your ability to work effectively in a busy environment. Demonstrated time management skills are essential for this position.

Whilst knowledge of the health industry is advantageous a willingness to learn and genuine desire to contribute to the care of our clients is essential.
