VMIA is the largest government insurer in the southern hemisphere and protects more $201 billion in State assets for Victoria.

As our Financial Controller, you will join the organisation at a unique time in the organisation's lifecycle and work with our CFO. You will play a key role in strengthen the State's balance sheet by leading, developing and managing the VMIA Finance business function, ensuring we meet our strategic, legislative and fiduciary responsibilities.

What we're looking for

You connect with people and love influencing the strategic direction by working with the Board and Executive Leadership Team. You focus on people delivering on the business' objectives.

You are a CA or CPA and have worked as a Senior Finance Leader in a multi-disciplinary financial services organisation. You will lead our financial control framework, audit program and optimise our financial performance. You will also provide advice to our Board and Committees to enable effective decision making and drive cultural change across the Finance team. Sound like you? This could be the perfect fit!
