This report has been a key input into the organisation's Corporate Plan, which is designed to improve ambulance response to the Victorian community and the health, wellbeing and capability of staff. To support the delivery of outcomes identified in the Corporate Plan, and as part of the ongoing reform agenda to improve the care we provide to the community and the way we support our people, a new organisational structure for our Operations areas is under implementation, with the creation of two senior leadership positions, including the Director, Operational Triage Services, reporting directly to the Executive Director leading the Operational Communications Division.

About the role

About you

The successful candidate will bring significant operational leadership, preferably from a patient-facing environment.  Your extensive people management capability will ideally be supported by a tertiary qualification in business, management or public administration.  You will also need an understanding of telephone triage services, as well as call taking and dispatch systems.
