The promenade is very popular and you can walk, run, ride or skate along this scenic trail. Almost every year between June and September the Southern Right Whales return to the waters off Warrnambool and often swim within a hundred meters of the shore.

Position Details

The 2019 Collaborative Graduate Nurse Program (CGNP) is a joint initiative between South West Healthcare - Warrnambool Base Hospital and Terang & Mortlake Health Service. Applications are now invited for the 2019 year. The position will combine Aged Care and Acute rotations with the flexibility to work 64 to 80 hours per fortnight. 

Warrnambool is a thriving seaside city with a population of over 34,000, and South West Healthcare's hospital is considered one of the most modern and technologically advanced health services in regional Australia.  This enables us to provide world best-practice treatment, care and support to a catchment population of 110,000 spread across 10,323 square kilometres. Only three hours drive from Melbourne with a direct train service four times per day, there are excellent facilities for education from preschool to university level, and opportunities to participate in all areas of the creative arts and sport.

South West Healthcare has approximately 22,400 admissions and 26,500 emergency department attendances per year.
