Position Details

The Building Attendant performs daily programmed maintenance and cleaning tasks as well as assisting with setups for official functions. This position will work closely with the Senior Building Maintenance officer and in a small team to ensure a high standard of presentation is maintained in all areas of the House.

You will have hands on experience in general minor repairs or maintenance and/or experience in facilities management and bumping in / out major events, and be someone who takes ownership of their actions with the ability to prioritise and multi task. Excellent attention to detail, along with an enthusiastic, positive and cheerful attitude are required.

Reporting directly to the Senior Building Maintenance Officer, your day to day tasks will include but not be limited to:-
• Maintenance and presentation of building and grounds (including programmed activities)
• Assisting at official functions including the setup of function rooms and spaces
• On grounds traffic and parking management for peak periods and events
• Other general duties & tasks as required

To be considered for this role you will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and will be a collaborative team player. You will be reliable, professional, have the ability to self-manage, and take pride in your work.
