About the branch

The Commercial Directorate provides the strategies, specialist advice, business processes and systems to efficiently and effectively deliver core support services to enable Parks Victoria to be financially sustainable, high performing, and ensure our activities are aligned with strategic objectives.  The Directorate maintains effective strategic level relationships to influence policy and legislation to provide an enabling environment as well as facilitating collaboration and championing continuous improvement at every opportunity.

About the role and your responsibilities:  

Are you a self-motivated individual who has well rounded organisational and communication skills and thrives in a busy environment?  This is an exciting opportunity for a high performer with a desire to make a difference – as the Senior Commercial Agreements Officer you are responsible for investigating, developing and negotiating new, and often complex, commercial agreements.  The role will encompass projects across the state.  You will also be responsible for leading and developing Commercial Agreements Officers and contributing to the development of policies and key initiatives.

To be successful for this role you will need:

  • Demonstrate a sound knowledge and experience in commercial property, facilities or contract management involving leases, licences, permits and/or consents
  • Demonstrated well-developed negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • An ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external
