Position Details

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for up to full time temporary (until June 2020) position of Health Promotion Officer working across both Camperdown and Warrnambool campuses.

The Health Promotion Officer will be a capable and organised health promotion practitioner and will be responsible for implementing and evaluating health promotion activity as outlined in the South West Healthcare Health Promotion Plan 2016 - 2021.

The successful applicant will have a demonstrated understanding of evidence informed health promotion principles and practice, with high-level project management skills and the ability to work independently and also collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders and health professionals.

The Health Promotion Officer must have excellent oral communication skills including public speaking and presentation skills, and written communication skills including a demonstrated ability to develop concise and accessible briefs, reports and project documents.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in health promotion, public health or a related discipline. Position description and further details can be found at our website under Careers.
