Position Details

Infrastructure Victoria is an independent statutory authority which provides expert advice and guides decision-making on Victoria's infrastructure needs and priorities.

The team assistant will provide high quality confidential secretarial and administrative support to the Executive Director, Strategy & Research, including diary management, monitoring email, and coordination of reading material and meeting papers. The successful applicant will also act as a first point-of-contact for the Executive Director, Strategy & Research, whilst providing ad-hoc secretarial support to the Executive Director, Advisory & Corporate. They will assist with coordination of intergovernmental meetings, preparation of meeting papers and project documentation, monthly project reporting processes, and maintain project governance guidelines, filing, and document management systems.

To be successful in this role you will have prior experience supporting senior executives and demonstrate knowledge of project management approaches and processes. You will have excellent communication and people skills, with a proactive and confident approach, and demonstrate a capacity for being collaborative in the pursuit of team goals. A high level of understanding in Microsoft Suite is preferred. Additionally, you will show sound judgement in providing advice, dealing with stakeholders, and demonstrating integrity and respect for your colleagues and your work.
