Position Details

The Country Fire Authority (CFA) is one of the world's largest, and most highly regarded community based emergency services organisations. We respond to fire and other emergencies 24 hours a day, seven days a week. About the role:

To provide competent, effective, efficient and confidential administrative and project assistance to Senior Managers, Deputy Chief Officers and their respective teams.  This is done in a mature manner with the ability to use discretion and judgement as required.

About you:

As the successful applicant you will have:

  • Demonstrate an extensive knowledge of administrative procedure and have an advanced level of experience.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills including the ability to liaise with people at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability at an intermediate or advanced level, in the use of personal computers and software applications - incl. MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise duties to meet objectives and strict time lines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.
