Position Details

The Victorian Building Authority (VBA) is seeking to appoint an autonomous and driven Internal Recruitment consultant to lead the recruitment processes across the VBA. We recently undertook a recruitment improvement project and now require an influential recruiter to embed the process across the business. Key to the success of this position is a candidate with strong stakeholder management skills, as this position will partner closely with all areas of the business to ensure best practice.


Responsibilities

  • Embed the VBA employee value proposition across the employment lifecycle.
  • Effectively partner with Hiring Managers and Business Partners to ensure appropriate strategies are adopted in the organisation, enabling high-quality recruitment decisions.
  • Manage multiple end to end recruitment processes simultaneously, arranging the initial job brief, advertising, shortlisting, conducting interviews and pre-employment checks.
  • Develop business capability to enable best practice interview skills, assessment of talent and on-boarding practices.
  • Improve the overall candidate and Hiring Manager experience through outstanding customer service and a can-do attitude.


Key Selection Criteria

To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Experience in a similar role in a corporate, government or similar environment, with sound understanding of contemporary recruitment practises and strategic sourcing strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience with recruitment tools including Seek, LinkedIn Professional, Springboard (or similar) and tools such as video and online referencing.
  • Strong client focus, with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to proactively identify opportunities for generating workplace innovation, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and taking responsibility for initiating outcomes.


Salary Details

A base salary in the grade 4 range of $85,279 - $96,759 per annum + super.
