Position Details

Engagement Lead

  • Help support VPS staff to identify and access opportunities across the VPS that enhance their capability, contribute to a secure and greater satisfaction in VPS work, and deliver better outcomes for Victorians.

The JSE is a new initiative that connects VPS employees with increased access to career development opportunities. It enables an efficient, high-quality public service by expanding career, training and development opportunities for employees.

Over the next year new initiatives and features will be delivered by the JSE team as we work with stakeholders and colleagues to evolve the platform, integrate skills and mobility approaches and re-design business practices.

The Engagement Lead will develop and implement communications and stakeholder engagement strategies to support the Jobs and Skills Exchange. This role will be responsible for ensuring all communications, stakeholder and engagement activities are delivered in accordance with department's frameworks to ensure high quality outcomes.

To be successful in the role, you will have demonstrated experience in large-scale communications, stakeholder relations, community engagement and issues management; and a demonstrated ability to prepare and implement communications and engagement strategies in these areas.
