Position Summary:

The Principal Project Adviser is a senior position within the Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing Branch, as part of the Health and Wellbeing Division of the Department of Health and Human Services. The position will provide leadership on policy and matters of strategic importance to promote government directions and actions on improving outcomes in Aboriginal Social and Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health. This will include supporting the implementation of Balit Murrup.

  • Able to demonstrate experience working with Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander communities?
  • Committed to driving change in Aboriginal social and emotional wellbeing and mental health?
  • Experienced in translating stakeholder engagement into policy change and system transformation?
