A Project Lead ready to impact (12 months max term contract)

VMIA is the Victorian Government's insurer and risk adviser, covering the people, places and projects that help Victorians thrive. From iconic cultural institutions, major infrastructure, public schools and hospitals, to emergency services and not for profits, our clients are diverse but united in their ambition to make a positive impact in our community. We share this ambition.

Your role

As our Project Lead, you'll play a key role in supporting the successful execution of the Medical Indemnity (MI) Program.

Here, your experience will enable you to take charge of projects for key stakeholders in the Risk Services Division, ensuring they're delivered on time and to budget.

About you

Here's what we're looking for:

  • 2-3 years' experience as a Project Manager
  • Experience managing complex projects and project suites
  • Proven success building relationships and managing stakeholders, especially when it comes to delivering programs and projects smoothly and efficiently
  • Well-developed business case writing and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in the health care or government sectors would be desirable
  • Project management practice qualification such as Prince 2
  • A good understanding of Agile and Waterfall management methodologies
  • Tertiary qualifications in medicine, surgery, health management or nursing/midwifery

We encourage people from all genders, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with disabilities, and people from culturally diverse backgrounds to apply.
