About the role

We seeking a motivated and experienced professional to lead our payroll team in the position of Payroll Manager.  This role is responsible to the Executive Director, People and Culture and is responsible for the efficient management of remuneration and benefits for the staff of South West Healthcare and its affiliated agencies. As a key member of the People and Culture Division leadership team, you will be actively involved in designing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives and collaborating with other functions to build sustainable work practices. 


What you bring

As the Payroll Manager you will have demonstrated experience and skills with computerised payroll and/or rostering systems (preferably Chris 21 and/or KRONOS) and in depth understanding of how to apply employment provisions and Enterprise Bargaining Agreements. Working as part of a collaborative and highly skilled team of professionals, excellent verbal and written communications skills, and comprehensive computer skills are essential (including Microsoft products, in particular Excel/Access).

2016-2020, with the appropriate classification Administration Grade 5.
