Are you a high-performing finance professional looking to make a difference by working in a key finance role at an essential emergency service organisation?

CFA's Financial Services Team is looking for a high calibre, motivated and experienced Management Accountant to join their team. The Management Accountant is a senior position that will play a critical role in the achievement and success of the vision for Finance at CFA.

About the role:

The Management Accountant operates at the heart of CFA's finances and is responsible for the timely delivery of CFA's financial performance reporting and analysis to the CFA Board and Executive, with a continuous improvement mindset and best practice approach. This role will allow you to demonstrate your well-honed skills in providing genuine value added advice to strategic and senior audiences.

This role is responsible for the coordination of the organisation wide budgetary process, as well as developing and approving costing methodology for CFA.

About You:

CFA are seeking an experienced and high performing Management Accountant.

You must also have the following to be considered for the role:

  • Be a professionally qualified accountant (current CPA, CA or equivalent)
  • Strong management accounting skills and experience
  • Experience in ERP systems (ideally SAP) and advanced level of Excel proficiency
  • Deep analytical capability and ability to apply strategic thinking to financial reporting and analysis
  • Experience preparing and writing financial performance reports
  • Ability to plan, implement and manage effective organisation-wide processes
  • Strong inter-personal, communication and relationship-building skills with ability to successfully consult, influence and provide advice at all levels
