Position Details

The Strategic Communication, Engagement and Protocol branch supports the government and the department to deliver high-quality advice and support in three key areas:

  • Communication — develop and deliver communication strategies designed to strengthen the reputation of the Victorian Public Service, the Victorian Government and the Department of Premier and Cabinet
  • Engagement — develop and manage corporate content and channels to communicate within the department, across government and with the community
  • Protocol — appropriately apply protocol as a way to establish, maintain and enhance relationships with local, national and international communities.

An exciting opportunity for a Media Monitor exists in the Media Monitoring Unit within the Strategic Communication, Engagement & Protocol Branch. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong written and communication skills and work effectively in a team environment. Previous experience in broadcast media monitoring would be highly regarded.

The closing date for this position is midnight Tuesday 17 December 2019.
