About MRPV

Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV) was established to deliver a multi-billion-dollar pipeline of key road projects across Victoria, including new roads, road widenings, new bridges and major freeway upgrades. MRPV manages complex and strategically important road projects from business case development through to completion connecting local communities and supporting Victoria's growing economy.

The Role

We have an exciting position available within our project development team who work on our pipeline of road projects for Victoria. Some of these recent projects include: St Kilda Road bike lanes, the Ararat and Beaufort bypass, the Shepparton bypass and numerous metro projects. The current project development team are high performing, sociable and fun. This role would be:

  • Assisting in the design and development of business cases for road projects around Victoria
  • Engaging and collaborating with key stakeholders
  • Driving the development of our business cases through assisting with reporting and governance
  • Technically contributing to business cases and providing advice
  • Utilising frameworks, systems and tools to assist the business with project development methodologies.

This is an ongoing position based in Melbourne CBD that is ideally full time.

About you

  • You may be from a design background and/or a technical engineering background
  • You're a driven, self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • You can work autonomously and support the team on major road projects that are in development
  • You'll have great interpersonal skills and will be good at building relationships
  • You have a quality focus, an analytical mind and work well in a team environment
  • You can manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines
  • You will be someone who uses their intuition and asks the right questions
  • You will have an engineering degree.
