Are you a Pharmacy Technician interested in supporting the roll out of the COVID 19 Vaccinations to regional South West Victoria?

About the role

Applications are invited from qualified and unqualified Pharmacy Technicians to join the South West Healthcare Vaccination Centre.  These roles assist Pharmacists to provide efficient delivery of pharmaceutical support to the centre by completing duties such as the drawing up of vaccinations, and completion of labelling and checking processes and stock controls. The Pharmacy Technicians are an integral part of the COVID 19 Vaccination team, which comprises of a range of other clinical and non-clinical staff including Doctors, Nurses and Administrative Support Officers.

Qualified and unqualified Pharmacy Technicians are encouraged to apply.

Full time, part time (minimum 6 - 12 months) and casual positions are available. Please specify in your application your preference.

What you bring

Both qualified and unqualified applicants must have a high level of computer literacy, highly developed interpersonal skills, an ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment along with excellent communication skills.

Qualified Pharmacy Technicians will have completed a Certificate III in Hospital / Health Services Pharmacy Support or equivalent as approved by the Pharmacy Board of Victoria.

Employment Terms and Conditions will be in line with the Victorian Public Health Sector (Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement 2016-2020, with the appropriate classification Pharmacy Technician Grade 1 (unqualified) and Grade 2 (qualified).
